Shailaputri rides a bull and the gods sing her praise. She is Bhavani, dear to Shiva, and no one fully knows her glory. She is called Parvati and Uma, and whoever remembers her finds happiness. She grants riddhi-siddhi, shows mercy and gives prosperity. She is beloved with Shiva on Mondays. Fulfil the hopes of whoever offers your aarti and remove all their sorrows.
