The Navi Mumbai Mahapaur Chashak Ganeshotsav Competition 2026 is organised across the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area and includes both public Ganesh mandals and household Ganeshotsav celebrations. The competition encourages environmentally responsible, plastic-free celebrations while recognising creativity, cultural preservation, social awareness and innovative festive concepts. Major award categories include: • Outstanding Public Ganesh Mandal • Outstanding Household Ganeshotsav — 5 Days • Outstanding Household Ganeshotsav — 10 Days • Outstanding Eco-Friendly Public Ganeshotsav Mandal Additional award categories include: • Outstanding Ganesh Idol • Outstanding Theme/Scene • Outstanding Decoration • Outstanding Traditional Ganeshotsav • Outstanding Innovative Concept • Outstanding Cultural Programme • Outstanding Social Message Total prizes worth ₹4,27,000 are to be awarded along with trophies/honours and certificates.
